I am a seasoned theater presence who studied at Shaw University, and a Master degree from Columbia University.
I have been featured on Broadway in Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple. Other theater credits include productions of Charles H. Fullers, A Soldier's Play, August Wilsons Seven Guitars,.
Film credits include The Devil Wears Prada, and The Interpreter starring Nicole Kidman.
In addition to my stage and cinema work, I have also found success in television having appeared on shows including 50 Cent New Project/Hank Steinberg, Law & Order SVU, Showtime’s Ray Donovan, CBS - Bull and his recent recurring role on the hit NBC show “New Amsterdam” playing Captain Szura head of Riker’s Island Prison.
I have several television commercials and provided background vocals for major recording artists Al Jarreau and RuPaul, and produced his own TV pilots: Rescue Meal, Inside the Forttress and Teen Talk with Dr. Tabby.

Although I enjoyed an ever-expanding career in the entertainment industry.
My journey to success has not always been smooth. At just 22 years old, I endured one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. As my girlfriend died in my arms I was shaken to my core. Having been through this fire, I decided to battle them and became a Firefighter / EMT. I have served in the Greenwich Fire Department for more than 26 years
In 2001, myself and several of my colleagues volunteered their time during the Search & Rescue mission in New York City at The World Trade Center.
I was also instrumental in helping to raise $150,000 for the victims' families of 911 by participating in a 350-mile bike ride from Ground Zero to the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
After surviving the tragic loss of my girlfriend, I put my dreams of an acting career on hold while raising a family and setting up a private healthcare practice for my spouse.
My wife (Tabitha B. Fortt) who aspired to become a doctor achieved her goal and now operates her own practice in CT.
As I still have dreams to fulfill! I decided to pursue my lifelong passion for acting at a professional level and I couldn't be happier with how it has all worked out.
